It was a weekend full of busy-ness and relaxation.... it didn't lend itself to picture-taking.

Beach. Dinner & wine. Some whine and bedtime. A game of hearts after the kids went to bed. The game was cut short after Jeff realized we were missing four cards from the deck.

Today we went to Foxwoods, the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation. I really wanted to go to the museum but it was closed. Gosh there is a lot of gambling that takes place there!

This is NFA (Norwich Free Academy), where I went to high school. It's one of the nicest places in Norwich. Students come from many surrounding towns, and the school is composed of many beautiful building that make up a campus. We always got some fresh air in between each class because we had to move to different buildings throughout the day. Fresh air! If I knew then what I know now about the relationship between fresh air and learning, I might have appreciated it a little more.

The road home.

About Me

My name is Jillian. I started this blog as a way to experiment with my camera and it's a become a nice little spot where I enjoy spending time. I'm a mother to 6 and 4 year old daughters, wife to a cool computer guy, and mama to a cuddly cat. We enjoy eating local, organic food; managing several food allergies; homeschooling with love; spending time in nature; and we love to take time each day to be creative. You can also find me over at From Scratch Club from time to time. Welcome!
